We are an Adolescent and Young women led organisation that exists to ensure that ural and peri-urban based Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) at high risk including those engaged in sex work have access to comprehensive, quality and equitable Health, social and economic needs.
Our programs are focused on creating an enabling environment for Adolescent girls and Women and amplifying their voices to demand for equitable health, social and economic services.
Thousands of young women, teenage mothers and their children in rural areas live in hunger and malnourishment due to the lack of income to buy food or land to cultivate and the lack of gender responsiveness in preventative health and nutrition services.
Through our feminist and leadership trainings we support and mentor the structurally silenced rural women and girls to attain knowledge, values, beliefs, habits and skills to work and live in our dominant cultural setting.
We are committed to ensuring that all adolescents and young people have access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services which enable them to make choices, exert control over their bodies and health.
Implementation of linkage to HIV care programs in the Uganda is poor, we thus try to deliver clients from HIV testing facilities to clinical care sites.
Economic empowerment strategies are increasingly being incorporated into HIV and AIDS programming targeting girls and young women, to improve there livelihood.
We try to improve HIV/AIDS care through assessing treatment needs, health issues, healthcare access, disease indicators, medication status, and HIV-prevention advocacy.
